Best Of Best Cheap Tablets For Kids

I know only too well what it feels like to be shopping for a budget for stuff for your kids, and helping you find the best cheap tablet for kids is something that I hold a little bit close to my heart.

I was there. I felt it. I know the emotional turmoil that you can feel when you want to give your kids the best, but you feel like you can not afford it financially.

Its scary. It stinks, and I sincerely greet you my best wishes. It was not long ago that I was rummaging through the boxes at Wal-Mart and my local dollar shop on a very limited budget, just a few weeks away at Christmas.

My budget at the time?

$ 100, and it was a miracle I could come up with that. All the bills were behind them, and it was a week-by-week juggling action to figure out which bills would be paid, and which ones I could push back a week or two.

Okay, I apologize for going a little too deep into my past. I just want you to know that I was there and judged the path you most likely will be doing. Again, I congratulate you on my most sincere wishes for a better tomorrow.

Now I will shut up and come back.

A Little Warning About Cheap Tablets For Kids

so few things make me more angry than seeing people who willingly tear down people who are in a desperate situation. If you try as hard as possible to make the most of your kids’ budgets, you do not want anything that breaks down on your child within days of giving.

It’s even worse if it turns up the week before a birthday or Christmas and it does not work if your child turns it on.

Yeah folks, it happens, and more often than I would like to see it. Of all the pills I bought for review on this site, I had well over a dozen broken and completely inoperative out of the box.

Unfortunately, there are many lesser-known companies that claim to make “children’s trays” and they are no more than $ 20 imported markdowns preinstalled with spyware and other garbage.

They import these empty tablets from China and then just throw a brand or sticker on them and out the door they go. Usually these tablets sell for somewhere between $ 40- $ 60 with the majority selling for about $ 50.

Often these companies do not have customer service. They have little to no guarantee, and most often the pills often die in a week or less.

I urge you not to buy these tablets !!!!

I’ve just seen a lot of complaints about them, and usually they’re always the same issues. I honestly can not say how many parents I desperately ask for help every year on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day because their child’s tablet does not turn on and it’s their big or only gift.

It is heartbreaking, and if I can only help one parent, I have done exactly what I hope to do with this post.

let’s move on, shall we?

The Best Cheap Tablets For Kids In 2018

So after I found the best cheap tablet for kids, regardless of age, and just averaged everything, I chose the Kindle Fire 7 Kids Edition as my top pick for the best cheap tablet for kids.

Why is that my choice? Well, there are a few reasons.

First price. Usually this tablet costs about $ 100, and that may sound a bit steep at first, but let me tell you exactly what you get for the $ 100:

Quality Video Entertainment – Kindle Fire pediatric tablets can play Netflix, YouTube and Amazon Prime videos. There are also some videos that can be downloaded to the device without any additional services. Most other tablets cost up to $ 20 for short 30-minute TV episodes

Fire HD 8 Kids Edition Tablet, 8″ HD Display, 32 GB, Blue Kid-Proof Case

Great Apps and Games – Freetime Unlimited, which lasts one year, gives your child access to all the free games and apps they could ever have. Best of all, they are all included. Other tablets cost between $ 2 and $ 30 per game, depending on the manufacturer.
AMAZING WARRANTY – It comes with a 2-year “they break it, we replace it” type of warranty. They know it will work well if Amazon promises to replace it if there is a problem.
Great performance for the price – It has a pretty impressive average battery life (about 8 hours), expandable video memory (via microSD card) and a nice looking screen, considering it’s not HD. (You can upgrade to a larger HD screen with double $ 30 storage if you can, but this is still a great model in the base model.)
So, as you can see, although it seems that this tablet is a bit more expensive in advance, it is not, frankly, thanks to the fact that you get all that inclusive.

With almost every other tablet on the market, especially the lower priced one, you can expect at least $ 30- $ 50 for your child to play games.

Even the Kindle Fire Kids Edition Tablets are all Amazon’s 2 year carefree guarantee, which, as we all know with young children, is worth their weight in gold.
